Working with our communities partners to provide accessible, quality, culturally safe, and holistic health care that supports and enhances the wellness of individuals, families, and communities.

Our Mandate

Improve accessibility, comprehensiveness, coordination, continuity, and accountability.

Increase client participation in their health care.

To ensure client access to Traditional Health/Elders for those who request such services and to other Traditional Health and Healing activities.

Our Services And Programs

Primary Health Care

Our Primary Health Care Team provide services to on reserve community members through community based health centres and to the urban aboriginal population residing in Sault Ste. Marie through the Indian Friendship Centre.

Home and Community Support Services

Our team is staffed with Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Rehabilitation Assistants, First Nation/Aboriginal System Navigators who provide Discharge Planning Services, Assisted Living Services Coordinators, and an Advanced Clinician Practitioner in Arthritis Care (ACPAC) Therapist.

Mental Wellness and Addictions

We assist men and women (18+ years) in determining their own vision and path to maintaining wholistic health and well-being through traditional and contemporary mental health counselling and treatment services.
We offer a wide variety of counselling services and educational workshops including individual client-centred counselling, family and group therapy.
